“Summertime” is a 1935 pastel print pin-up and an early work (pre Esquire Magazine) of Alberto Vargas. Alberto Vargas (1896-1982) was a Peruvian-American painter of pin-up girls and is regarded as one if the finest artists in his genre. He completed two commissioned calendar works for Joseph C. Hoover & Sons Company, one of which is \"Summertime\".
\"Summertime\" is 12.75\" x 16\". It is in very good condition with some softening of the corners and a faint crease in the lower right-hand corner.
