For sale is a super nice Antique Early 19th C Stoneware Jug Jar Crock with two applied handles and a beautiful free hand drawing of a tulip flower. The two handles are also decorated with a dab of blue. It has an authentic antique stoneware unglazed base and a fluid and natural shaped body with two shallow rings on the shoulder, all of which point to a much earlier production age than most of the other cobalt blue stonewares out there (most likely crafted in the very beginning of the 1800s). There is no manufacturer mark.
It measures approximately 9” tall and 7” at the rim. There are a few non-spreading chips to the lip rim. There is one hairline above a handle. See the last few photos for details. But that is all I can find. Over all a wonderful very early cobalt blue stoneware In amazing condition!
Ship with full insurance and utmost careful packaging. Please check out my other antique and collectible listings (many more stoneware items). I gladly combine shipping whenever practical.
