Antique 1/6 Plate Tintype Ferrotype Photo Circa 1870 - Seated Man In Hat. Excellent condition for a 150 year old photograph. Dates sometime around 1870 or earlier. Measures about 2.5” x 3.5”. Was told this came from an estate in western Pennsylvania. Clear image on this one with no apparent fading. Has some light bending of metal and has light rust on reverse. Does have signs of water damage on very bottom and right side edges. Ready to be framed and will make a wonderful addition to any collection.

As with all antique photos, never display near sunlight and keep away from moisture to help preserve image.
