I am pleased to offer this Antique John Round & Son Sheffield Plate Knife!
This beautiful knife has a Sheffield plate knife, bolster, and an amazing porcelain blue & goldhandle.
The knife blade has the John Round and Son mark, and the bolster has the JR Sheffield sterling mark with the date mark (r) 1909.
The knife comes with its original fitted case.
The knife measures approx. 10" L ; Case measures approx. 11-1/2" L x 2-7/8" W x 1-1/4" H
Condition:
This antique Sheffield knife is in good condition for its age, showing some light tarnish to the knife and bolster. There is some mild scratching to the blade, and some light scuffing to the porcelain handle. The blade looks a bit off center from the handle, and shows what looks like an antique repair at some point. Nice for display.
