This is a wonderful matching set of Victorian ladies that probably would have been considered risque back in those days. Unique theme and poses, lovely pastel coloring. They are marked with what I believe to be a German maker's backstamp. Probably date to the late 1800s.
Condition is that these ladies have suffered a boo boo, one far more than the other. The lady holding up the mirror was completely broken in half, but it's a fairly clean break, one that would be easy for a good restorer to make nearly good as new. The other lady faired much better, suffering only a broken finger on her right hand. Please review all photos closely for the best assessment of condition, and please ask any questions. I am also happy to provide additional photos if needed.
Lady holding the mirror is 7.75 inches tall, and the lady rolling down her stocking is 8 inches tall. They will be very carefully packed.
