Description Lovely antique gas astral / solar / sinumbra lamp
Base is weighted and ornately embossed with a lovely Victorian motif
Burner is also quite ornately reticulated
Burner screws on to the top of the base
There is what appears to be an input valve at the embossed band towards the bottom of the stem, but I don't see an opening in the valve (if that's what it is)
There is a brass peg towards the bottom of the burner near where it attaches to the stem; that peg is threaded and screws in and out with ease
The burner itself - I have no idea how or if it works - please see pics and judge for yourself
I apologize, but I'm not familiar with this type of lamp so I can't give better information on this style of lamp

11" to top of lamp base alone (without burner attached)
