This extraordinary pair of shoes came to me with a wonderful story. They were bought from a cobbler in Auvergne, France, he was closing his shop in the 1980s and he made these shoes and had them on display since 1945.
They have a wooden sole which measures 19.5cm from the toe to the back of the heel so they are for a small child, the rest of the shoes is sturdy tough leather.
They are very well made and I imagine it is almost impossible to find a pair of shoes of this age that have never been worn.
I expect they could make a wonderful historical piece for a collection, a shop display or a movie prop.
They will come to you in the gift box photographed with the boots.
I am happy to combine postage and pick up is available from Katoomba 2780.
