Rare and magnificent antique bobbin lace coverlet—lush with a rich variety of birds and animals, hunters, and striking mythological creatures. Every inch is gorgeous. From the 19th century. A very special piece, and a marvel to behold.

Condition is excellent. Carefully laundered, bright and clean. We note a few repairs, and a couple of faint storage marks. All minor, and easily forgiven - this is truly a work of textile art. You won\'t find anything else like it.
