Delightful octagonal English tea caddy in what appears to be mahogany, with shell / conch shaped inlay on top, satinwood (?) banding, and a delicate satinwood and ebony slanted striped edge detailing.
It has the appearance of being hand cut / hand crafted.
Single storage compartment, lined.Thought to be Georgian in age.
Contrasting off-white colored surrounded keyhole escutcheon - no key.

Has age appropriate use and wear.
Loose hinges but fully attached and functional, some missing detailing, worn liner.
Scuffs, scratches, some cracking.
No key.
