Antique German porcelain figurine, from the 19th century Meissen manufactory, representing a working peasant couple.
There is some divergence of opinion about the provenance of this type of porcelain, since the French manufacture of Choisy-le-Roy heavily forged the Meissen manufacture mark. Therefore, I prefer to say that it is "Meissen Style". What is indisputable is their high quality and that they are from at least the first half of the 19th century.
Measurement: About 6" high x 6" wide x 4" deep.
In pretty good antique condition, no relevant issues detected, but only a few tiny chips to flower on base.
