Antique Industrial LOG Welded Bead Texture Rare Metal Folk Art Ashtray Vtg OOAK For Sale

This listing is for an extremely rare one of a kind Antique / Vintage Industrial Folk Art figural Ashtray in the shape of a fallen log. It has an excellent texture done by hand applied welded beadwork over metal tubing of some kind. It also has a great patina that perfectly mimics bark. All in all it looks astonishingly realistic. I am unsure the exact age, or folk artisan, but it appears to be a piece from the 1920s- early 40s. It was sourced in southwestern Pennsylvania. Roughly 9” long and 4” tall, I believe it is completely one of a kind based on the amount of skill and time it would even take to make. It has rests for 2 cigarettes, but could also be used for a variety of other functions or just display. It is a fantastic piece for collectors, gifting, display/ decor, use, and much more!

It is in great condition. It has no cracks or chips anywhere on it, nor missing beads. Its patina adds to its realistic look and feel, and so I have not cleaned it beyond a dust off. Sits sturdily on 3 “legs” shaped like broken branches with the same applied beadwork.
