Very Large RARE Antique French Bisque porcelain figure/sculpture statue. Features a young fisherman wearing Victorian attire in white and gold coloring and trim carrying a fisherman’s net in both hands. Handmade and painted in France; I’ve been unable to find who the makers mark is attributed to but did find that Christie’s sold this same piece at sale in 2010 for over $550 referencing this as a French maker.
Note: Index finger of left hand is chipped at the joint; minor chip present on rear of base; chip present on vest chest interior. Discoloration present in some areas. All are hard to notice and blend well with the piece. Excellent pre owned condition otherwise considering the vintage; please see photos.
Measurements are;
