Our Inventory# DR DISMystery Album! There is a letter to the Pastor and his wife of Whitehall NY from members of the congregation and Sunday School gifting them some photos of themselves. The letter appears to be dated in 1845. I believe these to be tintype photos that were common starting in the 1850's. The Album also has a sticker on it dating its manufacture in the 1850's. So maybe there was an initial gift and the Pastor updated the photos of the people? There are 66 images, some metal, some paper. Also the 2 images of the church adhered to the front. A magnet does stick to the metal photos.
