This antique tool chest from Price Bros & Co is a rare find for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Crafted from wood and empty, this chest comes with a rich history that harks back to an era when craftsmanship was highly valued. The piece dates to a time where gender roles were much more prominent and younger boys would be gifted things of this nature to set them up for a more masculine role in life. The box currently has bits of miscellaneous bits of wood in it but not the original tools and other contents. The highlight of the piece is the paper branding on the inside of the lid. It is torn and stained, while considered damage add to the grit of the piece. The number assigned to this box have been ripped away as well. The color is impressive on it with the red, white, and blue still being vibrant and noticeable. The wood along the outside of the box is also scratched and chipped in a few places. The lid opens and closes normally on hinges. The box measures about 17” wide and 7” tall.
