Description:
This magnificent group Meissen figurine is depicting two ladies in rococo dresses. The seated one looking and reaching up to standing one. Point out the overturned egg basket at her feet. The standing lady is distracted by a putto who disappears under her skirts. Another cherub kneels beside the basket, holding one of the broken eggs in his hands. When someone got two handful little angels around, this scene could happens every day. Whole story stops and stills on an oval landscape-plinth with relief bordure. but feels like it would going on forever.
Condition: Considering the age, it is in very good Condition, minor leaf and petal losses. Seated lady’s index finger seems slightly pinker, hard to tell if it repainted, (please refer to pic2, 9, 16, 20)
