This antique cigar box is a rare find for collectors. The box boasts the popular William Penn WM branding. It is fully in tact with a sturdy base and completely attached lid. It opens and closes normally with no issues. The box has multiple stickers and branding throughout which add to the character of the piece. There is a factory stamp on the bottom marked “Factory No. 268 Third District, State of New York” indicating the manufacturer has complied with the guidelines of the time. The inside of the lid is decorated with a portrait of white men and native Americans peacefully interacting. The inside walls are all marked with the name William Penn and for the most part are legible. The box in general has seen better days but is still in solid condition. A few of the stickers on the box are split up and slightly damaged. A bit of the wrapping paper around the edges of the box is ripped as well. Most of the text throughout the piece is perfectly legible with the exception of a few scattered words. It boasts a capacity of up to 25 standard sized cigars. The box measures about 6.5” wide and 5” tall.
