First, thanks for your business. I am new to (as of late 2023). I\'ve always loved the advertising business. So, when I heard there was a market for vintage (and modern) magazine ads, I decided to start collecting. Due to the Internet, and maybe recycling, or simply time\'s passing, it\'s not as easy as it used to be to find old publications, especially from before the 1960\'s. I visit A LOT of flea markets, garage sales and antique stores to locate these ads. My success rate on a given day is about 10% or about 1 in 10 places I visit have old publications, often at less than bargain prices. It\'s fun but very time-consuming and, sometimes, stressful. This account of mine will focus on magazine ads revolving around Hollywood movies, celebs, entertainment, actors and actresses, famous athletes or just general businesses in the Southern California or Hollywood area, also known as the “entertainment capital of the world” By the way, I have another that focuses on more general magazine ads from vintage (as far back as 1930\'s) and modern magazines, including subjects such as popular culture, sports, cooking, travel, and some celebrity-related ads plus many other subjects including some ads from foreign magazines. Some are humorous. Some are serious. Have fun. The name of my other is MagAds321*** Important note. No commercial product or products are sold on my page.The only items for sale are magazine ads carefully torn from publications.*** Every magazine ad for sale on my page is an ad removed from a magazine. I carefully tear out the ads, and then often the edges are trimmed. I trim the edges to remove any of the following: slight tears, staple holes or marks,finger smudges, yellowed/worn edges, creases, folds, markings, pencil marks or to simply reduce the ad\'s paper size so it can be mailed easier. Since these are all ads removed from previously owned and read magazines, they are all USED and sold as USED. Some ads listed on my page are vintage – “vintage” by my definition means having appeared in print 25 or more years ago -- and some ads are much more modern. Please understand that the vintage ads from the 1980\'s and earlier might show some normal signs of aging. Colors might have faded, the paper might be slightly more fragile than when the ad originally appeared and, in some cases, there could be some yellowing due to age. If the publication used a thin paper, it is possible that ads, writing or pen or pencil marks on the opposite side of the page might be seen. Any ads that have more additional blemishes than normal aging and wear will be noted, of course. That\'s rare, however, as I try to only sell ads that are good quality. Occasionally, an ad will have a slightly lesser quality on the backside due to glue / tape marks or a peeled off address label. Some ads might have very slight pen or pencil markings on the backside, usually these can’t be seen on the other side of the page. Please use the magnifier tool to carefully examine each ad\'s photo / text up close before purchase. I want you to be happy with your purchase. Problems,questions, concerns or if the ad doesn\'t arrive in good condition, please contact me. I will do my best to respond to queries within 24 hours. Please allow up to 10 days for delivery in the USA.I scan the ad against a colored backdrop to highlight the edges\' borders and how cleanly the page was trimmed. Also, I scan the ad next to a ruler (in inches) so you can see the size. The ruler and colored paper are NOT attached to the ad and NOT for sale and NOT included. Orders usually are sent within 2 business days of a confirmed payment. In the Continental USA the ad should arrive in approximately 4 to 10 days. Allow an extra day or two to Hawaii or Alaska. The ad is mailed from the USA (likely Florida or California) using the USPS.

The unfolded magazine ad will be carefully placed flat into a large, heavy-duty paper envelope along with two pieces of cardstock (one on each side) so the mailing is more rigid and the advertisement is less likely to be damaged in transit. The envelope will be sent via First Class Mail in the USA and outside on the envelope will be marked PLEASE DO NOT BEND OR FOLD in large easy to read letters.

Multi-page ads or centerfold style ads are very popular. Unfortunately, especially with a vintage ad, it can be VERY DIFFICULT to remove the ad without tearing the paper due to the staples. I do my best,however if it\'s a centerfold style ad, there might be slight tearing where the staples were. Of course, I will note this. On multi-page ads not\"centerfold style\" but just an ad that takes up two (or more) pages,after removing the ad from the publication I do my best to trim the edges,however there might be some slight imperfection / distortion where the ads lineup side by side after the trimming.
