Argus vintage 35mm Slide Projector, 1940\'s era For Sale

Collector\'s dream!This vintage slide projector comes as a complete kit, including the manual with a copyright date of 1939, a spare bulb, the cord and plug, a 2-slot slide carrier and a velvet-lined leatherette-wrapped wood carrying case. The bottom of the case detaches to reveal a slide holder.The projector is in superb shape, with the original gray crackle-finish paint. The cord, as you might expect for a 70-year-old item, is somewhat degraded near the plub, but it still works, and includes an inline power switch. The bulb and optical system still works, as you can see in one of the photos displaying a modern 35-mm 4x3-format slide. The projected image is circular so it will also project old square-format slides. The projector uses a bayonet-based 100-watt incandescent bulb.
