I am pleased to offer from my private collection this absolutely amazing
and historically important antique pencil made c1920.Real victorian chatelaine sterling silver pencil.Original art nouveau sterling silver case and pencil. Part of Victorian ladies chatelaine.

Chatelaines were popular in the early 1900\'s and were usually a clasp or hook.

Held a purse and several other practical items as well as being decorative.

It features art deco design with straight lines and stamped sterling and Birmingham.

1916 and F.W. for F. Webb Ltd. establish in 1887.

There is also the original jump ring that would have been to attach to chatelaine.

The pencil is also still intact.

Dimensions : 3 1/4 in long and 1/3 inch wide.

You can wear as pendant or charm.

It is a beautiful testament to Birmingham sterling making.
