Item for sale is the August 11, 1855 edition of the Albany Morning Express. Paper has several interesting articles including on Colt's Revolver, review of a sermon by abolitionist minister Theodore Parker, article on the founding of the Publican Party (a party for liquor dealers), notice of an Indian attack, an article on skinny dipping young men who have their clothes stolen, birth and death notices, and an article and ad on a Minstrel show that includes performers in black and white face with "the best negro melodies, dances and witticisms".
Item is in good condition for age but has yellowing and spots from age, some minor tears at the edges and is wrinkled from storage. Four pages on one large broad sheet.
