B H Oil Lamp Ruby Red Victorian Era For Sale

This incredible work of art has survived almost 200 years as is. It contains its original oil housing and base. It is missing the upper actuator piece for the lamp shade to mount. It also is missing its original glass shade.

Glass has no cracks or chips. It truly surprises me that it has survived in such and amazing condition. It does have some scuffs marks please see pictures for details. The brass has begun to patina and discolor as all metal will. The oil lamp measures 15in tall. The base measures 6.5 in wide.
