This beautiful rare 19th century French linen scenic conversational toile quilted valance has incredible vignettes of figures, trees, ships, monuments, slaves and wonders. The background fabric is a natural colored linen with all of the figures and scenes in a faded red color. Wonderful to use once again as a valance! See photos for reference

24 inches in Length by 73 inches in Width

Condition:

Excellent - there are a few minor stains - nothing major. There is more of the same toile on the back of the fabric. The valance is quilted
