Beautiful Vintage GRISWOLD American No8 Cast Iron Acorn Hinge Short July 1922

This wonderful example of a Griswold No 8 cast iron low base waffle iron in fully restored condition. Each piece has been meticulously restored and ready for use or display. This waffle iron features an "acorn" styled hinge and spiral handles. Additionally, both paddles match up perfectly! No chips, cracks or repairs.

The item was stripped down and lightly seasoned with one round of Crisco at 450 for 1 hours. This item was photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, the item will take on a brown color. Items are much darker under normal light. Photos are part of the item’s description.
