Beautifully Restored RCA Model 128 Vintage Tube Radio, Circa 1934/35 For Sale

For sale is a restored RCA Model 128 vintage radio...in very good working order. It occupies a unique position in the pantheon of vintage radios, lying somewhere between a cathedral and a tombstone. In my opinion, a gorgeous piece of Americana.
Major overhaul done on it in 2020--$1000 worth. See below for the work completed on it. It picks up radio stations with only its internal antenna, imagine what it will do with an external one attached. It gets played now only very sporadically. Time to trim down the collection.
Completed work during restoration:

All paper dielectric capacitors, all electrolyticcapacitors, all resistors, andall tubes were replaced. The three-section variabletuning capacitor was scrupulouslycleaned/lubricated and its chassis-mounting bushings werereplaced.

All controls werecleaned and lubricated. The dial was meticulously cleaned.

All tuning circuits were calibrated. The AM and the twoshortwave bands work as new.

The speaker cable was laced withnylon cord. The AC line cord was replaced.
