Blue Ball Ideal Canning Jar c1910-1923 Jar Quart Size Wire Bail Muncie, Indiana For Sale

This is an antique Ball Blue Ideal quart size canning jar produced in Muncie, Indiana. The mold number on the bottom is 2. This jar was produced from 1910-1923 by the Ball Bros. Company. The color referred to by collectors is Ball Blue & this one is very clean which really shows off its beauty. It has the wire bail type closure and blue glass lid, it was very clean when I purchased it so I did not remove the lid to clean it. The early glass had many ‘flaws’ which makes each one unique. This one has a lot of imperfections in the glass both on the base and the jar walls. There is also pretty big bubble in the glass lid and several small ones on the walls. There is a green color mixed in on the base as well, it’s not on the outside so I’m unsure if it is in the glass itself or a film on the inside of the jar. Thanks for looking !!
