You are looking Hotai, a monk of the Later Liang Dynasty approximately 700 AD. Hotai was a lovable fat Monk that was always happy and smiling. He is depicted here in a seated posture with his right hand carrying a Chinese scepter and left carrying prayer beads. He symbolizes abundance and joy and the Don't Worry be Happy attitude towards life. It is believed that rubbing his fat belly will bring good luck.

Condition is ok with some spots on the back of the little buddha and underneath but rest of statue us in good condition and includes original box with red lining.
