British Pattern 1888 Type 2 Lee Enfield / Lee Metford Bayonet M1888 P1888 Mk1: $225.00
Up for sale is a British Pattern 1888 Bayonet it is the Mark 1 Type 2 variation manufactured in November of 1890. The crown over \'VR\' means it was made during the rule of Queen Victoria. Other British Proof marks are clearly visible including a regiment marking on the pommel, the regiment marking is for the 66th Company Royal Garrison Artillery. Three letters, possibly initials, were also added to the pommel. There is very little to no pitting only some light oxidation and normal wear on the metal. Unfortunately one grip does have a crack, though it is stable and personally would leave it alone. Also the entire button mechanism is missing. No scabbard included. Please look at the pictures carefully before purchasing. Feel free to ask any questions
