You are offerding on an extra-large original antique print from an 1890s French newspaper. This is one of my favorite antique color prints. It shows children leaving school on a rainy day with their umbrellas open. In the foreground a sister shelters her younger brother. Just beautiful. And very large.

The page measures approximately22 x 15.5 inches (55.5 x39cm). It has one vertical fold through the middle, where it was bound into the original journal over 100 years ago. The fold lines are clean without any darkening. The print was tipped into the binding, meaning it does NOT have holes along the fold line. The back of the print is blank, meaning this was probably a rare special supplement to the weekly paper.

The page is in excellent condition for its age. Back then, the paper was high quality and the print and illustrations are crisp. Based on the date, it is probably the rotogravure printing technique.

This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE antique item.
