This listing also includes an edition of comic book itself as an added bonus so you can compare the proofs to the actual final print version. This ultra scarce item has been in our personal collection since the late 1970s and has been well taken care of. NOTE: Color guides/colorist's artwork are re-sized copies of the pencil & ink original artwork that are assigned to the issue's colorist, and then hand colored by that colorist. Colorguides measure about the same size as the published comic book, and some have "color codes" for the printers to follow. Computer coloring has made hand painted colorist artwork extinct, so these rare examples remain highly collectible and displayable.
