This is a low grade item. The story will be complete and readable, but the item itself will have major defects. Allowed defects for this grade include: vertical book-length crease, spine split up to two inches long, detached cover or centerfold, writing or other marks on the cover, major tears, piece or pieces missing, water damage, heavy discoloration or brittleness due to oxidation, and other types of discoloration, staining, or brittleness.

Description

Cover by Dick Sprang. Stories by Edmond Hamilton, Jack Farr and unknown. Art by Dick Sprang, Jack Farr, Howard Sherman, George Roussos and Louis Cazeneuve. While in prison, the Joker becomes the butt of practical jokes played against him, so he threatens to escape and steal an entire city in retaliation in the Batman and Robin tale "The Case of the Practical Joker" by Edmond Hamilton and Dick Sprang. Plus: Three-Ring Binks in an untitled story by Jack Farr; Slam Bradley in "The Chicken and the Yegg!" with art by Howard Sherman; Air Wave in "Loot for Laughter!" with art by George Roussos; and The Boy Commandos in "Retreat to Paradise!" with art by Louis Cazeneuve (not by Simon and Kirby, despite the listed credits). Also: Casey the Cop 1-pager by Henry Boltinoff; Jerry the Jitterbug 1-pager by Boltinoff; and 2-page text story "Money in the Bank" by Stan Carter. 52 pages, full color.
