Dr Albert Shelton Memorial Certificate 1923 Batang Tibet United Christian Missionary Society.

This rare certificate was issued one year after the death of Doctor Albert Shelton who was shot and killed on the Tibetan border in 1922. He was trying to establish missions into Tibet. This certificate has wear and heavy creases to it and tears. It measures 8 ½ inches by 6 1/8 inches. This is signed by the President of the United Christian Missionary Society in Saint Louis, Missouri.
