Drusy Chrysocolla Mineral Specimen or Rough Rock

This gorgeous unpolished mineral specimen of Chrysocolla Malachite with a small blue Drusy Chrysocolla pocket is about 6 inches long by 4 inches deep and 2.5 inches thick. 

The Drusy Chrysocolla covers on tip and is 1.3 inches by 1.3 inches.  

The rest of this material is natural rough rock and it could be cut and polished.

It weighs 2.26 lbs.

Druse (pronounced drew-zee and most often spelled drusy or druzy) is a trade name for a natural surface texture of fine quartz crystals that sparkle. The drusy reflects the color of the stone below.

Chrysocolla is a copper silicate and is found in the copper oxide zones of major copper deposits. It is usually found with other copper ores, most commonly Malachite.
