Early Asian Solid Brass 12" Center Pierced Domed BBQ GRILL PLATE w/Channel Moat For Sale

Here we have an interesting early model solid cast brass pierced center domed Asian BBQ GRILLPLATE with an outer channel/gulley (or moat) surround. It measures approx. 12" in base diameter (add 1" for each side handle grip) x 2-1/2" centerhigh.
It is in very good maintained (lightly used) condition with no chips or cracks. It has not been cleaned or polished since acquired and is being offered in "as found" condition currently showing a beautiful brass patina and some minor bottom/underside heat marks, not offensive.
The center textured and pierced dome measures approx. 8-1/4" in base diameter, and when heatedover a flame,it is used for quickly cooking thin slices of meat while the surrounding channel/gully can be used for boiling vegies and bean thread (great item for making the Thai dish "Moo Kra Tha.") Oddly, there is no maker's mark or country of origin...believed to be possibly Japanese in manufacture?
Came from a private home of some years, however the exact age is unknown. This item weighs approx. 5lbs., add 2-3/4 lbs. or so or the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
