HOUSEHOLD INSTITUTE ~ Vintage MCM Aluminum Oval ROASTER w/Domed Lid (5 Qt.) For Sale

Here we have a wonderful early MCM model aluminum oval ROASTER with a high domed lid made by HOUSEHOLD INSTITUTE COOKING UTENSILS, USA displaying an attached Art Deco black phenolic lid knob and a slightly raised rib surround on both lid and pot. Lid underside has two concentricbasting rings.
It measures approx. 13" long (add 1-1/4" for each side end handle grip) x 9" wide x 4-1/4" side high x 9" in total height with the lid, can hold up to 5 quarts...to the brim. It is in good maintained (used) condition with no dings or dents, showing normal use. It is being offered in "as found" condition, not cleaned or polished since acquired.
The bottom is marked, "HOUSEHOLD INSTITUTE COOKING UTENSILS ~ REG. U.S. PAT. OFF." This item weighs approx. 4-3/4 lbs., add 3-1/4 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
