Originally available only through The Franklin Mint, these House of Erte \"Ocelot\" and \"Leopard\" Figurines depict the glamour of the Art Deco Era, when the more outrageous, over-the-top glam the better. These figurines are wearing a gold animal print evening gown and sleek bodysuit matching their respective pet (the Ocelot and the Leopard). One woman tempts fate by dangling one of her tassels over the Ocelot, showing she is the one in control. Her hair is spit-curled against her face under her pearl adorned headband. The other wears a suit that covers her from hair to toe, with a deep, bejeweled V-neck. Her Leopard is leashed to her wrist by a delicate chain that matches her necklace.
The limited edition Franklin Mint House of Erte figurine collection was created by Sevenarts Ltd., who specialized in hand painted porcelain figurines. The collection started in the 1980\'s finished 1991.
