Imperial German World War I 1914 – 1918 1st Class Iron Cross Decoration.
Measures 1 11/16” wide by 1 11/16” tall.The front shows King’s crown on the upper arm of the Maltese cross with a ‘W’ in the center.The lower arm is dated ‘1914’.The reverse side is maker marked ‘KO’. Has a wide vertical pin back with a ‘c’ catch.Three-piece construction with an iron magnetic center.This Iron Cross was awarded for gallantry in combat action during WWI.Very good plus condition
