Rare Indigenous Art Native American Totem Pole Handle Hand Carved Fertility Spoon.

This spoon was acquired from a world traveler, who over her lifetime, had built a large collection of spoons from around the world. I have not been able to pin point the exact origin or era as to when the spoon was made.

What I do know:

-spoon is 2 ounces total weight

-it lacks uniformity. The bowl of the spoon isn’t perfectly symmetrical or uniform, nor is the back of the spoon.

-it has unique details. The handle of the spoon features a Native American Totem Pole. The totem contains a women with a baby, along with a frog at the base of the pole.
