Jimmy Lile "Sly II" Rambo Knife NO DOT Excellent condition, never carried/used For Sale

This is a rare opportunity to own a Jimmy Lile "Sly II" Rambo Knife, with no dot (made by Lile himself), in excellent shape. It has never been carried or used, this was strictly a collectors and conversation piece. This is the full-size 9" blade.
It has been stored in a temperature controlled safe for almost 40 years, has never been used or worn. It has the original Johnson Sheathery sheath, in near perfect condition, there is only slight wear on the retaining strap. It also the EZ-Lap Diamond sharpener, also never used.
The knife does not have the handle wrapping, or wrist strap, as this did not come with the knife. It comes with the skull crusher with the compass on the inside.
My stepfather claims that this knife was an on-set prop extra on the Rambo: First Blood Part 2 movie,but I have no provenance or documentation to prove those claims.I do know he has had this knife since the mid-80's, but I tend to doubt this story.
This knife is part of an estate sale, and the appraised price is $2500 so I am starting offerding at $2600 to cover sellers fees.
