Vintage Papier Maché Paper Mache Hand Painted Cat by Joan and David de Bethel. Made in Sussex, England at Rye Pottery, 1967
"Percy Hodgekin" painted on the side.
This collectable cat is in very good (used, been on a shelf) condition. Measures approx. 7.5" tall x 5" Has a couple dents/chips which are minor cosmetic wear, but has no structural issues (examine photos for details).
This is a paper mache cat; not the ceramic version which is of lesser value.
Been in my family since 1977
Here is information on it's have seen these priced at $1400 or more with slight scratches. Selling this for less due to the few small chips.
