An estate item. Found in a large lot of family photos, but the connection is uncertain. What IS certain is this is one nice photo, clear in detail even under magnification. I can see the faces of the folks lined up in front of the theater, and it’s easy to read all of the signs up and down the street. This is a rare large photo, and it is an original from 1946… no reprints or copies have been made by us. I dated the photo by investigating the date of the Tallulah Bankhead play shown on the sign… which ran beginning in January 1946. The folks in the photos all have long coats, so it’s probably pretty close to January or February. Some soft wrinkles and light lines in the finish of this fine photo, but it’s a beauty. Frame this one! Measures 11” by 14”.
