Up for sale is a VERYRARE Large Mission Period, Arts & Crafts Era Hammered Copper Frame with a Nun (CCVI?) Lithograph. WHAT A WONDERFUL PIECE!!! I can find no other, either the frame or the litho. It measures OVER 24\" x 21\". The lithograph is in the frame upside down. I don\'t trust myself to fix it. As you can see there is a cross on one corner and a heart on the other. This lead me to believe that it was for the Sacred Heart Order. But, upon further study I believe it to be of the order of Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. I found a quote:
A nun clad in a habit holds a cross in her arms depicting Jesus nailed to the cross, the crucifixion. An angel standing in clouds is giving her a crown of thorns.
It is inVERY GOOD condition with no breaks to the frame and no damage to the litho that I can see. It does have a double cardboard backing that has wear as seen in the photos. I\'m sorry for all the dirt on the glass. PLEASE zoom in to verify the condition. I invite any information you may have!
Don\'t forget the \"Best Offer\" option. Should you choose to make an offer, and I agree, I will ship your item ASAP! Also, if you click the \"watch\" button, I may send you an offer out of the blue! And, I DO combine shipping. I will go with the lowest cost! For some reason the shipping calculator is CRAZY off almost all of the time on the larger items. I will refund the difference if the quote is seriously off. I try not to make a profit on the shipping!
