The top of this jar is MINT and when it is in place over the bottom, the bottom damage cannot be seen. So used as display and not for real cookies, you have a mint looking jar even with damage. The damage is a chip as shown on the top of the pink rim around the bottom of the jar. It can be repaired by someone who knows how to do so and has the materials to do the work. This jar is so cute I could not resist buying it for resale even with the damage.
