MARIE BRIZARD & ROGER ~ Beautiful Porcelain Lady SHERRY DECANTER/BOTTLE ~ France
Description of item...Here we have a beautiful blue and whiteporcelain DECANTER-BOTTLE made by MARIE BRIZARD & ROGER International Distillers of Bordeaux, France - depicting a high society lady wearing a long blue robe-dress trimmed in ermine fur with an ermine muff and head wrap. Itmeasures approx. 7" high x 6-3/4" base long x 5-1/2" base wide. It is in very good to practicallyexcellent maintained (used and empty) condition with no chips, cracks or crazing...but does has aminor blue paint fleck losson her right shoulder (most likely from the top lid cover rubbing on/off...see close-up photo # ) which is not offensive and hardly noticeable without close examination. It once held some type of liqueur,the bottom is marked, "Marie Brizard & Roger ~ MADE IN FRANCE" and "Revol ~ Siuze ~ Depose ~ France ~ 50."It has not been cleaned since acquired and is being offered in "as found" condition.Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact ageis unknown, circa 1950-60's.This item weighs approx. 1-1/4 lbs., add 2-3/4 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material.I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
