Midwestern or Pittsburgh 16 Vertical Rib Aqua Pontiled Club Bottle C. 1820Blown into a 16 rib dip mold. Applied inverted tapered lip with large open pontil base. Possibly blown in Pittsburgh as this inverted tapered lip is typically attributed to early glass blown there, but could possibly be Ohio. Mint condition other than one area of wear to the shoulder and a couple tiny flakes to one of the ribs associated with this wear. Measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide x 7 7/8 inches tall.This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.HW
