Mount St. Helens 1923 Gel Silver Photo by Asahel Curtis. Northern Pacific RR:
$300.00

Capture the stunning beauty of Mount St. Helens with this antique photograph taken by Asahel Curtis in around 1923. The gel silver print is a single piece, unframed, and not mounted. It features the breathtaking landscape of Mount St. Helens from Spirit Lake, with a black and white image orientation that gives it an evocative vintage and antique feel.

The 11 x 7 inch photograph is an original piece that depicts the history of the Northern Pacific Railroad scenic beauty of the 1920s in the United States. It is perfect for collectors and enthusiasts of nature, art, photography, railroadiana, famous places, and history. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity to own a piece of history that will inspire and captivate you.

Shipped upon cleared payment.

Is an original printed photograph with the silver gel effect that can be seen in pictures.  I believe these were sold on the railroads boxcars gift shops or their railstations or at the railroad stops in the Cascades.

I took pictures with and without flash.  I tried to show the creases which I believe I got fairly well on the angle.  Has very slight diminishments to edges.  Two small indents on back are visible upon close examination on front.  Back has darkened.

Signed as part of the photograph as shown, not an original hand signature.  States on the photograph that it is Mount St. Helens, the name of the artist and Seattle.

Please see pre filled data section of listing for more detail information.

The artist is well known for documenting this area and the Cascades especially in the early 20th century.
