This could be the crown jewel of these extremely rare antique cast iron bronze shields from 1890 depicting Tor's Fight with the Giants. A masterpiece for a Marvel collector. Based on Mårten Eskil Winge’s painting Tor's Fight with the Giants from 1872, there are not many of these in existence, and they were made in Sweden. Manufacturing started in the late 1800s. This shield is of the highest quality, 10/10. Bronze coated. Inscribed with G.E. 1890. Measurement: 69 x 49 cm.This shield was bought from an antique collector in Sweden and is not a replica. It was made in 1890.
