NICE RARE VINTAGE W.C.G. ITALY PEDESTAL ASHTRAY WHITE & GOLD ANCIENT ROMAN THEME For Sale

This listing is for a rare vintage Italian ashtray that I think is porcelain. As pictured it is white with gold and the makers mark W.C.G. ITALY 2561 / L is on the bottom. I have searched the web high n low and have not found any info on the maker nor any other ashtray that is the exact same. I asked my 81 year old mom that lives in a care facility about it and she has no memory of it at all. I can only assume it has been packed up in her attic for 50 years where I found it while cleaning out the family home. Height is about 2 7/8\". Base diameter is 5 1/2\". The top is 7 5/8\" diameter and the actual ashtray area is 5 3/4\" diameter. It is about 1 1/4\" deep and has 3 areas to rest the cigarette. Condition is pretty good but as my pictures show there are 5 area with wear and/or were chipped ?? Weight is 36.7oz.
