I am offering for sale this FINE NOS NEVER USED Antique Stanley Bailey No 5C Type 15 1929-30 Jack Plane Inv#CR43W

Here we have a fine MINTY Stanley Bailey No 5 Corrugated Type 19 1929-30 Jack Woodworking Plane that has been taken apart, cleaned and now ready to go....The tote has the original Stanley label (see photo). It has US Patent Apr-19-10 behind frog. The No 5 at tail end and Bailey at toe. It is obvious that this plane has NEVER seen battle... the tote and knob have NO ISSUES, cracks or splits. The rosewood & tote knob are in very nice condition. The plane\'s japanning is exceptionally nice except for a little flaking on the japanning at tail end. The corrugated sole and cheeks have no issues have cleaned up nicely. The plane measures approx., 14\" x 2-1/2\". The cutter has a marked Stanley Sweetheart logo Made in USA. The long-life cutter is clean & it measures 7-1/2\" L x 2\" W. I always suggest sharpening to get it back to an optimal cutting edge. Stanley is marked horizontal on the lateral adjustment lever (see all photos)
PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT true-up soles or sharpen cutters, I leave that up to you, the expert...

Some say that the Stanley No 5 is the most useful of all bench plane, wouldn\'t you agree!!

This is a Stanley No 5C jack plane that is in good usable condition with lots of life left.
