~This CDV features an early image of Prince Napoleon Jerome, nephew of Napoleon Bonaparte. Note the strong resemblance to his famous uncle! The photograph was taken c. 1850 and showcases Prince Napoleon’s regal appearance. He was born on September 9, 1822 in Trieste, Italy. He died in 1891 in Rome, Italy. He was nicknamed Plon Plon as a child.
