This listing is for an Insert_Title_Here.
The album belonged to Pharmacist’s Mate First Class Lyman W. Sprinkle of Dexter, Missouri. Sprinkle was a Navy reservist. The first photo of the album is labeled “June ‘39,” indicating pre-war service. Available records indicate he was stationed on the East Coast at the end of the war with a Marine photographic and reconnaissance squadron.
The cover is separated from the album and the edges show obvious signs of wear and aging. The album is in good vintage condition, besides the cover. Most of the corner tabs for the photographs are intact save for a couple. Some photos have writing on the back but I have not checked them all. Many photos show period clothing. One clear photo shows the album owner in a nice suit with a beautiful car behind him. See photos.
